The first IMS Prussia Cove violin is out on loan!

In April this year, we launched our first ever violin loan scheme, offering the first of the instruments so generously made for us by Peter Greiner and Mark Jennings to a young violinist in need of an instrument.

Our call out to IMS violinists for applications had an excellent response, and after careful consideration it was decided that the violin would be given on loan for 2 years to the young violinist Miclen LaiPang.

Miclen had played the violin during the Masterclass Seminar earlier in the year, and loved it.

In June, he travelled to Peter Greiner’s workshop in London to collect the violin, which was ceremoniously handed over in the presence of our co-founder Hilary Tunstall-Behrens, Chairman of the board Tessa Gaisman and our General Manager Rosie Yeatman.
